Base A & B

The Foundation. Core nutrients for growth and bloom.

Golden Tree

The Catalyst. Sparks root development and plant vitality.

CalMag & Iron

The Strengthener. Reinforces structure with calcium and magnesium.

Plant Enzymes

The Purifier. Breaks down dead material in the root zone, unlocking new nutrient uptake.

Flower Stacker

The Multiplier. Added during bloom phase to boost size and density.

Sweet & Sticky

Nutrient Calculator

This chart is for water starting with a ppm level of zero. For each 50 PPM level of hard water you start with your EC will rise by 0.1. This is on the PPM x 500 Scale.

Enter the information below, and Humboldts Secret Nutrient Calculator will tell you how much of each component you need to mix into your reservoir.

Gardeners ask. We’ve got answers.

Do I mix all of these at once?

Yes — all products in the Starter Kit are compatible and can be added to your reservoir at the same time. Be sure to mix well in between, and you’re golden.

What if my water isn’t at zero PPM?

If your tap or source water starts with a PPM (parts per million) above zero, you’ll want to adjust accordingly to ensure healthy roots. Here’s the quick math: every 50 PPM above zero raises your EC (electrical conductivity) by approximately 0.1.

Can I use this with soil, coco, or hydro?

Yes, Humboldts Secret nutrients play nice with all mediums, including soil, coco coir, and hydroponic systems. Drainage and frequency may vary, but feeding ratios stay the same.

What’s the right PPM or EC for my grow?

The ideal PPM (parts per million) or EC (electrical conductivity) depends on your plant’s growth stage, variety, and overall health. Our calculator gives you proven phase-specific recommendations trusted by experienced gardeners in both home and professional settings.

How do I know if I’m feeding too much or too little?

TL;DR — High EC and nutrient burn (browned tips) = too much. Pale leaves and stunted growth = too little. Use the calculator to stay in the ideal range and adjust as needed.
